Step into the world of banana fiber art with our hands-on workshops held at Scar Arts home gallery in Fort Portal, Uganda. Guided by Benedicto and his two brothers, members of the SAP art collective, you’ll learn the fundamental of this unique technique and create your own artwork, tailored to your design and preferences.

No prior experience or artistic skills are needed! With continuous support from the instructor, you’ll be guided step by step through the entire process, ensuring you enjoy crafting your unique masterpiece.

Workshops are flexible, with each session lasting around two hours. Most participants complete their pieces within four hours, often choosing a standard 20x20cm format, though size is entirely up to you. Since 2019, we’ve welcomed thousands of participants from all over the world-Spain, France, Germany, Israel, Turkey, the UK, Ireland and beyond.
